The twilight series returned for a second go at Willows, and once again the weights were good, coming from the regular producers pegs 38 to 46. It was a close result at the top. The weights were:
Adrian Ager 39lb 13oz off peg 38
Ashley Blunt 38lb 11oz off peg 44
Josh Purton 28lb 8oz off peg 40
The first event in the rover series took place on the river Kennet at Brimpton. With the river flowing well and better weather than late, you would expect most people to catch. The weights were however quite low, showing the river can be difficult. Next round is on 1st July on Dobsons. The results were:
Dave Taylor 5-15-0 which included a 5-3-0 chub
Dave Smith 3-14-0 assisted by a 3-11-0 barbel
Henry Sadler 3-11-0
The first in the series of four was a dour affair, with the lake fishing poorly and the weather not good. Despite that seven brave juniors turned up and stuck it out for two and a half hours. No ladies were fishing. The trophies will now be fished for on the last match instead of the 30th June when the lake may fish better. The results were:

The Twilight series moved on to the Hambridge Canal for the third round, here the weighst are smaller and it is a loser contest. Fished mostly on the pole, these are the results:

No other weights were recorded. The next round is 26th June on Willows.
The first outing for the old boys (and girls) took place on Avington D section on 20th June. Reliably Avington produced a good range of weights and most weighed in, and the over 60's produced a large field of anglers. Following this the next round is 4th July on Dobsons. The results were:
