Rover match 24th June 2012
The first event in the rover series took place on the river Kennet at Brimpton. With the river flowing well and better weather than late, you would expect most people to catch. The weights were however quite low, showing the river can be difficult. Next round is on 1st July on Dobsons. The results were:
Dave Taylor 5-15-0 which included a 5-3-0 chub
Dave Smith 3-14-0 assisted by a 3-11-0 barbel
Henry Sadler 3-11-0
Martin Pallett 1-9-0
Kevin Richardson 0-8-0
Les Durnford 0-6-0
Josh Purton and Linda Pallett failed to weigh in.
