Over 60's match - Avington - 2.11.22
With only seven anglers fishing, plenty of points were up for grabs. With small Roach being caught from the whistle it looked like it would be a small fish race. As the day progressed the odd Perch began to appear. The winner was Bill Bowsher with a good total of 12lbs 2oz from Peg 5. Second was Brian Pallett with 7lbs 4oz on Peg 6 and third Henry Sadler with 5lbs 11oz, fishing Peg 9. With a total of just over 40lbs, each angler had an enjoyable day. We welcomed Ian Purvis as a new face to this match.
