Over 60's match - Enborne - 26.10.22
Eight anglers did battle in the latest over 60s match. On a warm, wet and windy day, pegs were selected and battle commenced at 10am. Small fish were anticipated to start which followed by better Perch as the day progressed. Fishing Peg 17 (the hot peg) Dave Smith caught Perch, Roach, a big skimmer and a nice tench to win the match with 12lbs 14oz. Second on Peg 9 was Richard Wiggins with 7lbs 5oz and third Brian Pallett, Peg 10, with 6lbs 3oz including a Perch of 2lbs 2oz.
With a total weight of 47lbs being caught at an average weight per angler of almost 6lbs, a good day was had by all. Henry Sadler
