Over 60's match 28th July 2021
The morning of 28th July dawned with rain, sun and winds forecast, and this was right. 14 over 60 anglers arrived at Willows to contest bragging rights for the day. With all the rumours forecasting big weights, dues were paid, and pegs drawn. Silver fish did not show as is the norm, but carp were active and showing signs of feeding. Top weight was 43-0-0 by Dave Smith followed by 22-10-0 from Wilf Squires, and third, new face Tim Wirth with 20-13-0. The leader board now reads: D Smith 25 points, M Burrows 16 points, T Wirth 16 points, L Durnford 15 points, H Sadler 13 points. Tights lines to all. Henry Sadler.
