Rules and Regulations

Every club is governed by its rules and regulations. For Newbury AA this is particularly important because we are very visible to the public, and because we are custodians of the wildlife habitats and SSSI's. We also have around 1000 members who need clear rules on how to share our fisheries. Please make yourself aware of the rules and regulations.

If you do not have a copy you can either ask for a pocket book from the membership secretary, you can download a PDF copy to carry around on your smartphone, so you need never be without the rules.

If you wish to propose a change to the rules please submit it to the secretary. Every year in December change proposals are reviewed by committee to decide which will be put to the AGM. Changes to the regulations may be proposed at any time.

Membership

From the 2023-2024 season NAA is utilising Clubmate to manage membership renewals etc. The system has now gone LIVE. The simplest way is to download the Clubmate app on your device after which you can purchase your ticket immediately and receive a photocard ID card by post.

Should you require additional help, our chairman, Dougie Hull, is making himself available  via 07879 490587, but to be fair to Dougie, please do not call unless you are genuinely stuck!

NOTE - Members renewing their permits will have to do so via Clubmate and NOT via Thatcham Angling, Sagecroft Road, Thatcham.

BRAND NEW members may apply in person via Thatcham Angling. Application forms will be available on this site shortly
