Over 70's rover 18th June 2014
The match season for 2014 has begun and the old boys are first out of the blocks with the Over 70's match on Alders. They had a great day of fishing with a close run thing for the top places. S Dyer won with a bagful of small silvers for 5lb 15oz, Ken Hunt only 2 ounces behind with a couple of good bream, and the others caught some tench between 1.5 and 2lb. Those baby tench are at last showing having grown up a bit. Looks good for the other matches on Alders this year. The whole result is:
