Club Championship 7th July 2013
The Club Championship circus moved on to Avington for the next event. in the blazing heat of 30 degrees the fish were less keen than usual to take a bait and they struggled for a good weight. It was a close run thing with Ada Ager just nicking it from Dave Smith, with Martin Pallett in third. Most of them weighed in but with a top weight of 4lb the minor points were separated by ounces.
