The Over 70's visited Willows for their second outing looking for some carp to fill their nets. It was a runaway win for Bill Dixon who netted several fish for nearly 47lb and losing one which would have taken him over 50lb. It left Alec Pearce and Ken Hunt to scratch for a single fish fish each for the runner up places. It puts Bill and Ken in a tie for the series lead at this stage. The full score was:
Bill Dixon 46lb 15oz
Alec Pearce 9lb 12oz
Ken Hunt 7lb 14oz

The over 60's went to Willows eagerly expecting to get amongst the carp, but they were playing hard to get. There was a big field of 17 anglers and they fell into three groups; those who got a carp, those who got a silver fish, and those who got nothing. The results reflect this very clearly, the top four places having a single carp each, the winner decided by how big the carp was. More than half the field blanked. The winner was Steve Myers to make it two in a row and on maximum points, Second Steve Thame and the other carp catchers were Dave Smith and Brian Cripps. The full results is:
Steve Myers 11-5-0 peg 26 1 Carp;
Steve Thame 8-4-0 peg 54 1 Carp;
Dave Smith 8-3-0 peg 34 1 Carp;
