Over 70's - Willows - 13.7.22
Fourteen anglers fished this match at Willows on a very hot day. Due to low water levels and heat, all Carp were weighed at the time of catching and not placed in keep nets. With various thoughts on tactics and baits, the match commenced. The winner with three Carp was Roy Speirs with 17lbs 14oz. Second was Richard Wiggins with 11lbs 3oz and third, the 86 year young Bill Dixon with 8lbs 10oz. Overall Dave Smith and Richard Wiggins both have 16 points followed by Henry Sadler and Bill Dixon on 11 points and Brian Pallet and Kim Hodges on 10 points. A well supported match.
