Over 60's match 1st December 2021

On a cold clear canal, eight enthusiastic anglers prepared for battle on the muddy towpath at Avington. With a strong, cold down stream wind it would not be easy. The first two hours passed with little being caught, although rumour had it Les Durnford had a small Perch. After two hours the odd small fish began to appear. At the weigh-in Dave Smith weighed 2lbs 4oz for another win, followed by Les Durnford 1lb 15oz and Steve Myers third with 1lb 13oz. Tight lines to all. Henry Sadler.
