Memorial match 26th September 2021
Thirteen keen lake anglers enjoyed a warm Sunday fishing the above match on Willows. Fish were being caught within the first few minutes. Various methods were used and secret baits came to the fore. Winning weight was Richard Faithfull with 61lb 14oz, mainly carp with the exception of one bream weighing 6lb 5oz (caught on the pellet wag). Second Les Durnford with 36lb and third was Wilf Squires with 34lb. Roy Spiers followed with 33lb 5oz and Steve Myers with 33lb 4oz. With over 200lb of fish caught, a great match!
