The battle to win the over 70s is very close after the most recent match at Knotts on 1st September. A confident 10 anglers attended the draw hoping for a low number. On a warm but windy day most people caught fish. The winner was B. Pallett with 9lb 12oz followed by M. Burrows with 6lb 8oz. Third place was H. Sadler weighing 5lb 14oz. With one match to fish, the league table has altered yet again. R. Wiggins leads with 27 points. H. Sadler 26 points, B. Pallett is on 24 points followed by W. Dixon 23, K. Hodges 20, M.
